We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Tameside from January 2026.
This role would suit a teacher who enjoys delivering high-quality Science education, values strong relationships with students, and wants to be part of a school community that places equal importance on academic success, personal development, and positive values.
You will be teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, working within a well-organised department that encourages curiosity, practical learning, and a clear understanding of how Science connects to the wider world. The position is full-time and initially runs until Easter, with the possibility of extension.

A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a passion for Science
Someone confident teaching KS3 and KS4, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
A teacher who sets high expectations and creates a calm, purposeful learning environment
A team player who enjoys collaborating and contributing to department development
A strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing
