JOB TITLE: Learner Support OfficerLOCATION: WisbechHOURS: 21 per week / 36 weeks per year working 3 consecutive days (term-time plus up to 5 paid training days per annum)SALARY: £11,853 - £11,951 per annum, which includes an enhancement for annual leave as this is a term-time only post - (£25,176 - £25,385 per annum FTE)Learner Support Officers offer one to one and group support to learners both inside and outside of the classroom through a range of activities based on individual learner needs. Our Learner Support Officers work across a range of departments and provide support in classrooms, workshops and at social time, depending of the individual needs of learners and their timetable. These are rewarding roles where no two days are the same, and involve pastoral support, personal care and the chance to make a real difference to learners lives.This is a chance to make a real difference to young people who need support in their educational career. We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Additional Learning Support team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength.
