As a Meetings and Events (M&E) Operations Manager and Head of Department, you'll be keeping the M&E operation running like clockwork and leading your team to ensure our guests have an incredible experience with us. Take a deep breath because you'll be stepping into a busy role! We set high standards for ourselves to surprise and delight our guests, so you'll need to manage the M&E operation with a passion to deliver excellent customer care.
If you're our ideal M&E Operations Manager, you will:
- Be a vibrant host for customers and an expert in recognising their needs- customer retention is a crucial part of this role!
- Be hands on and visible in the operation with the ability to lead and multi-task
- Keep the details in mind- you'll take ownership for ensuring the hotel facilities and equipment are well-maintained
- Have great communication skills- it's important to establish relationships with organisers, and other departments within the hotel!
- Ensure that staffing levels are adequate for upcoming events
