• Provide hands-on support with personal care, mobility, and daily activities, ensuring patient comfort and dignity.
• Assist with basic clinical tasks, such as recording observations (temperature, pulse, blood pressure) under supervision.
• Perform venepuncture and support gynaecological procedures and investigations, including preparation and aftercare.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in line with infection control standards.
• Monitor and manage stock and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.
• Accurately document care and activity using hospital systems.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals to deliver patient-centred care.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and contribute to a supportive team culture.
• Be flexible to cover other areas within the gynaecology service when required.
