LM Technologies is a specialist UK company with an international customer base and an exciting growth journey underway. Having recently expanded from Canary Wharf, London to a second office in Bath, we’re now looking for a Commercial Executive to help drive market penetration, open doors, and keep opportunities moving.
This is a hands-on, varied role at the front end of the commercial process — ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating leads, and being involved in international customer activity.
The Commercial Executive Role:
• Researching and identifying new customers, partners and routes to market
• Generating and qualifying leads through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn)
• Booking first meetings for senior team members (online and in-person)
• Managing follow-ups and keeping the commercial pipeline moving
• Supporting customer visits in the UK and internationally
• Coordinating exhibitions and trade shows (2–3 per year)
• General customer support, responding to enquiries within 24 business hours
• Acting as a key point of coordination between commercial, technical and operations teams
This role sits at early-stage business development. Pricing, negotiation and closing are led by senior team members — your focus is opening doors, progressing opportunities and keeping everything organised.
International Exposure
You’ll travel internationally throughout the year, often alongside colleagues, visiting:
• Existing customers (relationship building, updates, new opportunities)
• New prospects (introductions and discovery meetings)
• Some trips may arise at short notice and require extended stays, so you’ll need to represent the business confidently in any setting, manage competing priorities, and work independently when needed.

About You:
• Confident speaking to new contacts by phone and email
• Writes clearly and professionally, with strong attention to detail
• Is highly organised and follows up properly
• Is comfortable using CRMs or tracking systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.)
• Enjoys variety and juggling different tasks
• Is self-motivated, reliable and a strong team player
• Is happy to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice, as part of a small, growing team
Desirable (Not Essential):
• Experience in business development, sales support, customer success or lead generation
• Experience supporting exhibitions or events
• Experience working with international customers or suppliers
• A second language
