This is an exciting opening for an ambitious teacher to join a forward-thinking school in the Sheffield area. Roles & Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons that challenge all pupils, from those with SEND to those working at greater depth.

  • Using diagnostic assessment to identify learning gaps and implementing rapid-response interventions to ensure no child is left behind.

  • Leading and managing a team of support staff within the classroom to maximise the impact on pupil learning.

  • Building strong, professional relationships with parents and carers to promote home-school synergy.

  • Taking an active role in the development of a specific curriculum area across the Key Stage, ensuring progression and engagement.

  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that celebrates the diversity and achievements of all pupils.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory for this role.

  • Evidence of "Good" or "Outstanding" teaching practice in a UK primary setting.

  • A deep understanding of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and statutory assessment requirements.

  • Excellent classroom management skills based on positive relationships and high expectations.

  • A collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to the school's continuous improvement journey.

  • Must possess an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to undergo a new check.
