Roles & Responsibilities-
Intervention Delivery: Leading small group "catch-up" sessions for phonics and early numeracy to boost confidence and attainment.

1:1 Support: Providing dedicated assistance to pupils with specific learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum at their own pace.

Classroom Synergy: Working hand-in-hand with the Class Teacher to prepare engaging resources and maintain a tidy, inspiring learning environment.

Observation & Feedback: Keeping a keen eye on pupil progress and providing the teacher with vital insights into individual successes and challenges.

Safeguarding & Welfare: Acting as a vigilant and caring presence, ensuring the physical and emotional safety of all children at all times.

Supervision: Managing playground interactions and lunch clubs to promote positive social skills and fair play.

Relevant Qualification: Ideally a Level 2 or Level 3 certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).

Classroom Experience: Previous experience working within a UK primary school or formal early years setting.

Communication Skills: The ability to explain complex tasks in simple, child-friendly terms.

Resilience: A calm, patient temperament when dealing with challenging behaviours or sensitive situations.

Reliability: An impeccable attendance record and a commitment to being a dependable member of the school team.

Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one).
