We are looking for experienced Welder Fabricators

Days £15-£18ph

Location: Usk, NP15

Immediate start

Shift: Monday to Friday 0800-1630 (hours can vary slightly)

Ongoing contract with temp to perm opportunities

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for experienced Welder Fabricators to join our clients team based in Usk, NP15 .

The role:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, with a strong focus on producing high-quality fabrication work to specification.

Your key responsibilities will be:-

  • Fabricate and weld components according to technical drawings and instructions
  • Carry out MIG welding competently. There will be minimum required units to be created daily
  • Operate workshop machinery such as grinders, saws, drills, and plasma cutters
  • Measure, cut, and assemble metal structures with precision
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

About you:

As an experienced Welder Fabricator you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good understanding of health & safety practices
  • Own tools and PPE (desirable)
  • Welding certifications (preferred but not essential)
