Single Point of Access (SPA) is a service that is vital to the delivery of community sexual health care.

Electronic referrals from a variety of professionals are managed by the SPA. SPA is also responsible for handling patient telephone enquiries for several different services. Our high performing team uses an advanced electronic patient record system.

The team has a highly supportive culture and is comprised of a mixture of experienced and developing administrators working across this 5 day service. The service opening hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday, Thursday & Friday - and the service offers a night service until 6.30pm on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
• To book clinics and appointments and manage cancellations in a timely manner.
• To communicate effectively by competent use of email, telephone, written and face-to-face communication according to CLCH guidelines and customer care standards.
• To provide cover for other administrators or receptionist’s when necessary or as directed.
• To work as a team member with other clerical staff, nurses and doctors and support the admin & data lead.
• To utilise relevant IT systems to enter and retrieve data ensuring all details are accurately recorded in a timely manner.
To use standard CLCH protocols and processes to obtain information relevant to the service from trusted and recognised sources.
• The post holder will work with little supervision, prioritising and managing his or her own workload on a day-to-day basis is vital.
• Alerting clinical staff to the needs of vulnerable clients to ensure they are safeguarded i.e. children, young people and adults.
• To carry out any other admin duties as requested by the management team
