neuropsychological assessment and intervention with children, adults, and their families analysis and formulation of neuropsychological assessments, report writing and feedback to children, adults, families and other professionals and agencies neuropsychological contribution to MDT diagnostic clinics and clinical discussions consultation and provision of neuropsychological advice for both diagnostic/formulation purposes and intervention staff training supervising and supporting the neuropsychological assessment provided by assistant psychologists and other clinical members of the specialist paediatric team who provide evidence-based care and treatment as appropriate utilising research skills and contributing to audit, policy and service development and research under the supervision of the service clinical lead liaison and effective teamwork within the multidisciplinary FEM service and with colleagues from our partner service and with staff from tertiary clinical genetics, paediatric, community health and education services Band 7 To provide a qualified specialist clinical psychology service to the neuropsychology service, including inpatients and outpatients; providing specialist neuropsychological and psychological assessment, formulation and therapy. Offering advice and consultation on clients psychological care to colleagues from other disciplines and to other, non-professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service. Band 8a To take responsibility for clinical neuropsychology provision for patients referred to the FEM service for neuropsychological assessment, formulation and diagnostic opinion. To provide supervision of assistant and/or trainee clinical psychologists. Provide a qualified specialist clinical neuropsychology service within the FEM service based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle providing specialist neuropsychological assessment, formulation and intervention plans. Offering advice and consultation on clients psychological care to colleagues from other disciplines and to other, non-professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures.
