Our integrated MDT includes physiotherapists, psychologists and nurses. We have inpatient and outpatient treatment streams and provide tailored holistic rehabilitation for patients living with chronic pain and other

The Occupational Therapists explore every aspect of function, including return to work, enabling these complex clients to manage their condition and quality of life more effectively. This is an exciting post, which will enable you to draw on both your physical and mental health skills.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who wants to work as a valued member of an MDT contributing to the psychological and physical wellbeing of our patients; and who seeks to learn and wants to contribute to excellence in all we do.
The post holder will have a varied caseload of outpatients, and will contribute to the inpatient rehabilitation programmes.
You will be required to
• complete biopsychosocial assessments,
• set patient goals,
• guide a programme of finely graded activity,
• promote self-management of long-term conditions through education in 1:1 and group sessions.
You will benefit from a structure of clinical specialists, peer support and supervision, and engage in MDT projects to improve and develop the service. You will participate in department teaching programmes
alongside colleagues within the MDT and other clinical specialities.
