Summary

We're looking for a Payroll Implementation Manager (Ireland) - 12-month FTC to join our HR Shared Services team based in Rushden.



Location: Flexible - hybrid working available, with travel required to the Rushden office 1-2 days per week

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Payroll Implementation Manager (Ireland), you'll lead the implementation of a new Republic of Ireland payroll for Kier, working alongside an outsourced payroll provider. This is a critical role ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payrolls aligned with local legislation and company policies.

Your day-to-day will include:

-Leading the implementation of Republic of Ireland payrolls, including provider selection and system integration

-Managing system testing and process design for payroll implementation

-Ensuring compliance with local tax and employment legislation

-Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party providers

-Driving process improvements and knowledge transfer across the payroll team



What are we looking for?

This role of Payroll Implementation Manager (Ireland) is great for you if:

-You have payroll experience, including significant years managing Republic of Ireland payrolls

-You have experience leading payroll implementations and managing outsourced providers

-You are highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and confident in data analysis and reporting

-You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills

-You can work independently and adapt to complex, changing environments
