Crynodeb
Rainbow Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of their client in East Worthing (West Sussex) for a delivery & collection Driver, working 3 days a week (Tue, Wed & Thur).
You will be joining an award winning equipment specialist that work with some of the biggest and best loved brands in the UK.
You will join our team responsible for completing deliveries & collections, and assisting with the positioning of equipment on-site, making sure products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition.
Other duties and responsibilities for this position include:
• Loading and unloading delivery vans, ensuring the load is safe and secure and follow the loading and unloading process (full training provided)
• Delivering equipment, consumables & spares to customers on designated routes
• Obtaining delivery confirmations from customers
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are signed for by the receiver
• Assisting with the positioning of equipment on site, with colleagues and engineers (training provided)
• Maintaining regular communication with the office from each stop, and reporting any issues that may arise
This position will include some early and late finishes which can include overnights (hotel booked in advance with evening meal provided).
Full uniform supplied, which includes PPE kit (safety boots, gloves, hi viz).
To apply for this role you must:
• Hold a UK Drivers license, with a maximum of 6 points
• Be over 25 years of age (due to insurance requirements)
• Have at least 6 months commercial/paid driving experience
• Be physically fit, due to aspects of heavy lifting
Working hours:
• Hours 24hrs over three (3) days, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• Overtime available, paid at time and a half.
Starting Salary:
• £18,000.00 Pro-Rata (£14.42ph)
