Join us as an Employment Support Worker and Make a Difference Every Day

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with learning and physical disabilities to reach their full potential? Do you thrive in a creative, supportive, and dynamic environment? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re looking for a motivated and resilient Employment Support Worker to join our Disability Employment Mentoring Support Service. This is a rewarding role where you’ll help individuals develop the skills they need to move closer to voluntary or paid employment.

What We’re Looking For :
You’ll bring a positive, adaptable approach with the creativity to support individuals in achieving their goals. You’ll understand that behaviour can be a form of communication and respond with empathy and calm. Resilience is key—you’ll remain supportive and composed through both the rewarding and challenging moments of the role.

What We Offer :
• A full induction programme and access to specialist training, including BASE (British Association for Supported Employment).
• Opportunities to develop professionally and make a real impact in people’s lives.
• A supportive team environment where your ideas and initiative are valued.

Due to the nature of the work, the post is subject to a satisfactory disclosure check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

If you’re looking for a rewarding and fulfilling career and would like to know more, give us a call for an informal chat.

Welsh Language Skills: The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post. We are committed to our Welsh language and are proud of our Welsh culture. We welcome applications in both Welsh and English and application forms received in either language will not be treated less favourably than each other. We’re passionate about supporting and encouraging you to use your Cymraeg whatever your level. We offer free classes at all levels, in-person and on-line to support you.

Lleoliad gwaith: Rhyd Y Creuau – Betws Y Coed

Yunwch â ni fel Gweithiwr Cefnogi Cyflogaeth a Gwneud Gwahaniaeth Bob Dydd.

Ydych chi’n angerddol dros gefnogi unigolion sydd ag anableddau dysgu a chorfforol i gyrraedd eu potensial llawn? Ydych chi’n ffynnu mewn amgylchedd creadigol, cefnogol a deinamig? Os felly, byddem yn falch iawn o glywed gennych chi!

Rydym yn edrych am Weithiwr Cefnogi Cyflogaeth gwydn a llawn cymhelliant i ymuno â’n Gwasanaeth Cefnogi Mentora Cyflogaeth Anabledd. Mae hon yn swydd sy’n rhoi boddhad ble fyddwch yn helpu unigolion i ddatblygu’r sgiliau maent eu hangen i symud yn agosach at gyflogaeth wirfoddol neu am dâl.

Am beth rydym ni’n chwilio:
Byddwch yn gweithio mewn ffordd gadarnhaol a hyblyg gyda’r creadigrwydd i gefnogi unigolion i gyflawni eu nodau. Byddwch yn deall y gall ymddygiad fod yn ffurf o gyfathrebu ac ymateb gydag empathi ac yn bwyllog. Mae gwytnwch yn allweddol - byddwch yn parhau i fod yn gefnogol trwy gyfnodau heriol a chyfnodau sy’n rhoi boddhad yn y swydd.

Yr hyn a gynigiwn:
• Rhaglen gynefino lawn a mynediad at hyfforddiant arbenigol, gan gynnwys BASE (Cymdeithas Cyflogaeth â Chymorth Prydain).
• Cyfleoedd i ddatblygu’n broffesiynol a chael gwir effaith ar fywydau pobl.
• Amgylchedd tîm cefnogol ble mae eich syniadau a’ch menter yn cael eu gwerthfawrogi.

Oherwydd natur y gwaith, bydd angen cael datgeliad boddhaol gan y Gwasanaeth Datgelu a Gwahardd (DBS) ar gyfer y swydd hon.

Os ydych chi’n chwilio am yrfa werth chweil sy’n dod â boddhad ac eisiau gwybod mwy, cysylltwch â ni am sgwrs anffurfiol.

Manylion y rheolwr ar gyfer trafodaeth anffurfiol: Craig Bond Rheolwr Tîm 01492 575063 Craig.bond@conwy.gov.uk

Gofynion y Gymraeg: Mae’r gallu i gyfarthrebu yn y Gymraeg yn ddymunol ar gyfer y swydd hon. Rydym ni wedi ymrwymo i'r Gymraeg ac yn falch iawn o’n diwylliant Cymreig. Rydym yn croesawu ceisiadau yn y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg fel ei gilydd ac ni fydd ffurflenni cais a dderbynnir yn y naill iaith na’r llall yn cael eu trin yn llai ffafriol na’i gilydd. Rydym yn frwdfrydig dros eich cefnogi a’ch annog i ddefnyddio’ch Cymraeg, beth bynnag eich lefel; ac mae gennym ni ddosbarthiadau am ddim ar gyfer pob lefel, wyneb yn wyneb ac ar-lein, i’ch cefnogi chi ymhellach.
