About us
Helensburgh Home Care Ltd is a family business, micro domiciliary care service (currently one person supported) progressing Care Inspectorate (CI) registration. We seek a Registered Manager (named manager) to provide light‑touch, remote oversight and proportionate governance.
What you’ll do (remote‑first oversight)
Act as named manager on CI registration; lead monthly digital oversight (QA notes, records review, incident/complaints log, notifications).
Ensure delivery meets Health & Social Care Standards and the CI care‑at‑home quality framework (leadership, workforce, planning, outcomes).
Review and sign‑off policies, personal plan, risk assessments; advise on safer recruitment, supervision and training (proportionate to a micro‑service).
Occasional in‑person visits to Helensburgh (e.g., quarterly or as needed) for environment walk‑throughs, care reviews, or incident follow‑up.
Essential
Eligible to be the named manager: hold a relevant practitioner qualification at SCQF Level 7 (e.g., SVQ Social Services & Healthcare or HNC Social Services) and be eligible for SSSC registration.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of Scotland’s Health & Social Care Standards and CI inspection expectations for care at home.
PVG (Adults) and right‑to‑work in the UK.
Desirable
Working towards/holding SVQ Social Services & Healthcare SCQF 9 and SVQ Care Services Leadership & Management SCQF 10 (SSSC manager benchmarks)

PAYE: £125/month (irregular hours; rolled‑up holiday shown separately on payslip).
Self‑employed: £162.50/month (provide UTR; PI/PL cover recommended).
