In transport operations, safely transporting waste to disposal sites on assigned routes and schedules is paramount. Daily vehicle checks are essential to maintain optimal working conditions, with prompt reporting of any issues. Providing excellent customer service during collections is crucial, alongside meticulous documentation of deliveries for accountability. Adherence to regulations ensures safety and compliance, while effective communication within the team facilitates smooth coordination and issue resolution.
What we are looking for:
Applicants must hold a clean UK driver's license, Driver Qualification Card and Digital Driver Card and demonstrate reliability for the driver role. While prior experience is preferred, it's not mandatory. Physical fitness is crucial for lifting heavy items safely, and punctuality is key. Moreover, a client-focused approach and a strong emphasis on safety are integral aspects of the job.
