The Role of a Reception Manager

We are looking for a Reception Manager to lead our Reception Team to success. Reporting directly to the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the Reception Department including, Reception, Nights, and Switchboard.

You will assume operational responsibility and drive the performance of Reception Team to deliver exceptional levels of service to all our guests and meet the agreed departmental financial targets.

We are looking for a self-motivated forward-thinking individual with a strong Reception background. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to lead and develop your teams and influence across all areas of the business.

As Reception Manager you will have a hands-on approach and take a proactive role with managers in and out of your team to identify and support needs at all levels. You will be an inspirational leader, who is passionate in delivering extraordinary guest experiences and who takes pride in sharing success with your team.

The Gainsborough Bath Spa is a luxurious 100-bedroom hotel originally built in the 1800s, occupying two Grade II Listed buildings with distinguished Georgian and Victorian façades.
