At Titan Travel, we are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to work across our South region. Could this be you?
It is an exciting time to join our Trade team at Titan, we have an ambitious growth plan and redefined strategy but also want to keep the customer at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a true ambassador to be out in the field to ensure Titan Travel is our travel agent partners first choice to deliver on our mission of being the most trusted touring partner.
Saga Travel Group (UK) Limited acquired Titan Travel in 2009, and while they are now part of the same group, Titan Travel continues to operate as a separate, though integrated, entity within the Saga Travel business.
This is a field-based role, where roughly 80% of your time will be on the road meeting with accounts. There will be the expectation that you will need to work flexible hours around industry and trade events.

Regional Performance – Excellence Every day.
• Act as an ambassador for Titan Travel ensuring brand messaging is effectively spread across your region.
• Take ownership of your region and identify brand exposure and training opportunities for local agents and create a plan to effectively execute them.
• Attend all trade events in your region including (but not limited to) TIPTO, ATAS & Travel Gossip.
• Drive participation in Titan Rewards to drive upsell and focus on business priorities.
• Host Fam trips.
• Maximise engagement with TITANium & trade communication sign ups to help us achieve our KPIs.
• Support the trade inbox where necessary to ensure timely responses.
Strategic Planning – Make It Happen
• Analyse your regions weekly, monthly and quarterly account activity and performance, spotting opportunities to improve performance and put in place tangible, measurable action plans that drive results.
• Drive trade incentives and campaigns.
• Deliver on your promises and be the most trusted partner to your accounts.
• Ensure that agreed sales and marketing activity is implemented, tracked and monitored to assess ROI.
• Monitor and report on competitor activity in the touring and wider holiday sectors to ensure Titan Travel remains at the forefront of our sector.
The Ideal CandidateOur ideal Business Development Manager will have 2+ Years background in sales and/or account management. Experience within a travel agency or within the travel industry is preferred.
Based on the field nature of the role you will need to hold a full driving licence.
Skills required include:
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly form relationships
• Sales driven and with an eye for identifying commercial opportunities, and turn them into results
• Conceive and execute engagement initiatives unaided and/or with the partnership of other business stakeholders
• Innovative thinker constantly looking to improve ways of working
• Excellent time manager who can identify priorities, balance them with the core day-to-day tasks and build out their diary to maximise opportunity
