You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients under the supervision of registered nursing staff.

What we are looking for
• Experience in a healthcare or care setting, or a clear desire to work in patient care
• A caring, reliable & professional approach
• Good communication & teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and develop clinical skills
• Commitment to Trust values and patient-centred care

NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent is desirable for Band 3 but not essential for Band 2 appointment.

• Supporting new starters, students and junior colleagues (Band 3 level)
• Working flexibly across shifts, including nights, weekends and bank holidays

Clinical duties at Band 3, once trained and competent, may include blood glucose monitoring, ECGs, venepuncture, bladder scanning and simple wound care.

Applicants appointed at Band 2 will receive a structured induction and competency-based training, with support to develop clinical skills and complete the required Band 3 competency framework. Progression to Band 3 will be subject to successful completion of the relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and demonstration of consistent practice at Band 3 level, with regular review and agreement by the line manager.
