Crynodeb
1. The main role for this position is to work in the Community and at the CDC in Halton delivering a high quality spirometry and sleep service. 2. Ensure bags are stocked for the clinics and maintain adequate stock levels within the department. 3. Undertake diagnostic tests clinical tests on patients of all ages including children with the ability to explain to patients about each test and what will be required of them, within an agreed competence. These procedures include: a. Perform spirometry along with administration of medication where requested. b. Undertake FeNO testing c. Perform spot check oximetry d. Issue overnight sleep study equipment and overnight oximeters and download the recordings 4. To undertake cleaning and maintenance of equipment in the department alerting appropriate senior staff when there is a fault. 5. Transport, escort and chaperone of patients. You may be required to assist with lifting and handling of patients 6. Routine clerical/administrative duties to include processing test requisitions and reports. 7. Assist with ensuring compliance with all quality standards. 8. Participate in all communication and training activities. 9. When required, to assist the CPAP service in supplying consumables to patients, coordinating the telephone messages, and stock control. 10. To adhere to all Trust policies and procedures as laid out in the Employee Handbook and Departmental Quality Guidelines. 11.
