We are recruiting on behalf of a local nursery in Morley for a dedicated and hard working Early Years Practitioner to join their team on a permanent basis. ​Job Description
Work closely with children aged 0-5 years, looking after daily needs such as feeding, nappy changing, and toileting.

Act as a key person to an allocated number of children and their families.

Plan, provide, and support age-appropriate play opportunities in line with the curriculum and individual needs.

Observe, assess, and record children's learning and development progress.

Ensure standards of health and safety, hygiene, and cleanliness are maintained at all times.

Maintain the safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care.

Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers.

Attend regular team meetings and additional training events as identified by the manager.


Requirements
Qualification: A minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 or equivalent qualification in early years.

Experience: Previous experience within an early years setting.

Knowledge: A strong understanding of the EYFS welfare, learning, and development requirements.

Communication: The ability to communicate confidently and professionally with a wide range of people, both written and verbally.

Skills: Good organisation and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Personal Qualities: A resilient, patient, and hard working individual with a positive and flexible approach.

Commitment: A dedicated team player who is reflective and evaluative of their own practice.
