Job OverviewThis is an exciting new role for a Regional Assurance Manager supporting a recently awarded national contract. Operating as part of a small contract team you will be regionally focused on approx. 14 client sites across the northwest, acting as the account directors regional point of presence.
As a driven self-starter you will have extensive experience in the Security industry, ideally in an operations environment, where you would have effectively managed dispersed teams whilst understanding potential threats and risks to the client and business; being able to advise on possible mitigations. You will be supporting the account director and local/site managers in supplying optimal levels of service, fostering a strong client relationship built on trust and setting the highest of standards through strong leadership.
Main Duties
-Work closely with the account director to help project and manage client requirements & expectations
-Implement opportunities locally to maximise service efficiency and drive continuous improvement
-Collaboratively works with relevant stakeholders to ensure they achieve all contractual KPI's as agreed via the customer & Mitie.
-Conduct monthly pre-audits KPI meetings as required and escalate any failings
-Build, enhance and sustain long lasting client relationships at all levels within the account, positioning Mitie as a trusted partner.
-Ensure that Policies and Procedures of the client, contract & our company are relevant and being adhered to by all employees.
-Conduct regular reviews of all sites and ensure that all issues identified are reported and resolved.
-Ensure smooth running of the security operation at all times leading by example to deliver to the high standards expected
-Support and assist the site OM in the Management of all aspects of site based Mitie security staff for example (list is not exhaustive):
- SC Clearance - must have already or be able to achieve
-Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a management role
-Capable of being flexible with working hours due to 24 hour working model of some sites
-Ability to inspire and lead teams to deliver the highest service standards at all times
-Effective communicator at all levels
-Must have good understanding of delivering a security service within a government framework
-Ensure the security risk assessments have been signed off and regularly reviewed.
-Assist with recruitment and retention requirements for prescribed area
-Deliver role and contract training to site staff.
-Assist in the delivery of governance and assurance activity
-Ensure efficient & effective administrative procedures, including the maintenance of reports and associated documentation.
-Provide accurate and timely information for the preparation of reports and planning.
-Support our company vision, culture and core values through leadership, mentoring and coaching.
-Explore and look to introduce innovation in operational processes, systems and services to ensure our company maintains its competitive advantage.
-This is not an exhaustive list of activities and other duties appropriate to the role may be delegated, according to the operational need.
What we are looking for
