Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust work in partnership to deliver high‑quality hospital and community services across Tameside, Glossop, Stockport, East Cheshire and the High Peak. Together, we support adults and children through a wide range of care, aiming to improve health outcomes and address wider determinants of health through deep collaboration with our partners.

Our joint work is grounded in the NHS Long Term Plan and its three strategic shifts: moving care from hospital to community, accelerating the transition from analogue to digital, and shifting the focus from sickness to prevention. By redesigning pathways together, we champion proactive, personalised and digitally enabled support that reaches people earlier and closer to home. This approach strengthens integrated community‑based care, reduces inequalities, and helps people live healthier, more independent lives.

We are committed to building a workforce that reflects the communities we serve and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, particularly underrepresented groups. Our shared values – Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence – guide how we work with our patients, communities and each other.

Both organisations promote flexible working and offer generous benefits, including annual leave, the NHS Pension Scheme, salary sacrifice options, cycle‑to‑work schemes, discounts, and extensive health and wellbeing support.
