CNC Miller - Permanent Position
Location: Finedon Road Industrial Estate Wellingborough
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30
Salary: Starting at £37,440 per annum
We are seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Miller to join our client's growing precision engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that manufactures high-quality components for the aerospace, automotive, hydrogen, gas & oil, and food industries-and is now expanding into the F1 sector.
Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to meet daily production requirements, including:
- Programming CNC machines both online and offline
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Using specific milling software such as CADCAM Suite or Edgecam
- Reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings
- Working to tight technical specifications
- Performing quality checks on manufactured components
- Proven experience programming CNC machines (online & offline)
- Ability to program, set, and operate CNC milling machines
- Experience within the F1 sector is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of HAAS and Heidenhain controls
- Ability to operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexible and proactive attitude
