What You’ll Be Doing:
• Leading and evolving the SEND strategy across the school
• Managing and supporting a high-performing team of SEND professionals
• Building partnerships with parents, external agencies, and school staff
• Overseeing EHCPs, assessments, interventions, and statutory compliance
• Driving a whole-school culture of inclusion, aspiration, and pupil empowerment
• Analysing SEND data, reporting to governors, and shaping SLT decision-making

Ideal SENDCO for this Hackney School:
• UK-trained (or equivalent) with National Award for SENDCO or in progress
• Proven SENDCO experience (primary or secondary), or exceptional SEN teacher ready to progress
• Outstanding record improving outcomes for pupils with SEND
• Deep knowledge of statutory SEND frameworks, EHCPs, inclusion best practice
• Inspirational, strategic, resilient, and collaborative
