Crynodeb
Cleaning To assist in the monitoring and maintaining of cleaning standards on the ward including the maintenance of the cleaning logs. To ensure equipment such as drip stands, commodes and trolleys are cleaned as per policy. Catering To participate in the mealtime process, assisting patients where required. To prepare drinks and hot snacks i.e. toast for patients as requested taking into account individual patients requirements. Maintaining the environment To monitor service delivery of cleaning and catering within the ward environment, reporting deficiencies and agreeing actions with the Nurse in Charge. To ensure any defects are recorded, reported and closed when resolved, liaising with the Estates help desk as appropriate. Working practices and relationships To receive, welcome and assist visitors to the area, liaising with other staff as appropriate. To transport equipment, consumables and written instructions as requested. Support of people To ensure patients have adequate supplies to meet their basic needs.
