We are recruiting an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward school in East London from the New Year. This is a full permanent position, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of children with additional needs.
About the Role:
- Teach and support pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and the SENCO to ensure high provision
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Track progress, complete assessments, and contribute to review meetings
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and the wider school community
Were Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Essential
- Experience working within SEN settings or with SEN pupils in mainstream
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A patient, resilient, and child approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil well being
