Flexibility: can work any 3 days MONDAY - FRIDAY.

We’re seeking a proactive and customer-focused Senior Leisure Attendant to oversee the day-to-day running of our busy school-based facility, open Monday–Friday (5–10pm) and weekends (9am - 5pm). This is a 15 hours per week contract, covering three midweek shifts (Monday–Friday), with overtime opportunities and weekend absence cover when required, plus occasional office hours (in lieu) to support the Leisure and Lettings Management team across the CLF Trust. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and motivate a team of Leisure Attendants, manage staff rotas, and ensure smooth operations across all shifts.
You’ll take ownership of our online booking system and staff procedures/training, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and equipment care. Key holder responsibilities including the opening and closing of the facilities and preparing the areas for public use.
This includes overseeing maintenance, cleaning and Health and Safety standards throughout facilities at all times, instigating repairs as required and ensuring equipment is stored securely and appropriately.
Report any operational challenges and/or concerns of any nature to the Deputy Leisure and Lettings Manager
Effectively motivate a team of Leisure Attendants to deliver all Leisure activities in accordance with prescheduled rotas and cover requirements to ensure full delivery of the provision.
Supervise, coach and mentor more junior colleagues within the team as directed by the Deputy Leisure and Lettings Manager.
Provide operational supervision to Leisure Assistants, including allocation of work and provide feedback as required to Deputy Leisure and Lettings Manager in accordance with the agreed procedures, to aid professional development conversations
