We are looking for two enthusiastic individuals to join our team in North East Essex within the field of Physiotherapy. We currently have two posts to advertise:
Post 1 - Full time 37.5 hours per week
Senior Physiotherapist for NEE Community Hospitals.
The therapy team provides assessment & treatment to inpatients across Harwich & Clacton Hospital. The successful applicant is likely to be primarily based at Clacton Hospital but they will be required to work at Harwich Hospital.
We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist who wants to specialise in this field. As well as their complex caseload, they will deputise for the Physiotherapy Team Lead in their absence, supervise rotational & unregistered staff in the team & act as clinical educator for student physiotherapists on placement from local universities. Staff are expected to participate in the 7 day working rota, but there willnotbe any requirement for on-call duties.
Post 2 - Part-Time 15 hours per week Thursdays & Fridays
Senior Rotational Physiotherapist
This 2 day per week post will be part of our rotational scheme.
Staff are expected to participate in 7 day working & work on the inpatient respiratory on-call rota. We would consider applicants looking to return to practice for this position.

Interviews will be held in person, due to the practical nature of these posts.
You will be expected to perform safe, evidenced based physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations & complex physical & psychological conditions & deliver an individualised treatment programme from a range of options
You'll undertake comprehensive assessments of patients, including those with diverse or complex presentations, using clinical reasoning skills & manual assessment techniques to assist in diagnosis & choose from a range of treatment options to achieve the desired goal. To formulate treatment plans & recommend best course of intervention, considering patients’ personal goals & objectives, to develop comprehensive discharge plans.
You will be responsible for your own caseload & for a defined area of the service, initially with supervision of senior staff then progressing towards working without direct supervision. Supervision involves regular formal training & clinical reasoning sessions, peer review & one to one assessments.
You'll be professionally & legally accountable for all aspects of your own work, including issues around consent and capacity.
To manage clinical risk within own patient caseload.
