Crynodeb

Curve is a leading producing theatre, creating compelling cultural experiences for all those who live, learn, visit and work in Leicester. Under the leadership of Chief Executive, Chris Stafford and Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, Curve has developed a reputation for producing, programming and touring a bold and diverse programme of musicals, plays, new work and dance. All of this is presented alongside a dynamic mix of community engagement and learning opportunities, which firmly places audiences and communities at the heart of everything we do.

Curve is looking for someone to join our Hospitality Team as our new Kitchen Apprentice. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, has excellent communicate skills, treats others with dignity and respect and can work as part of a team. You should be punctual and reliable, have a willingness to learn and a positive and friendly attitude. You do not need to have worked in hospitality or theatre previously, although a keen interest in hospitality and theatre would be beneficial. It is essential that you have a flexible approach to work (including evening and weekend hours). Completion of your apprenticeship will lead to a qualification as a Production Chef, subject to an end point assessment.

If you would like to find out more about becoming our Kitchen Apprentice, please contact careers@curvetheatre.co.uk to arrange an informal discussion with our Head Chef and Food and Beverage Manager (Operations). To apply and for further information about the apprenticeship please visit our website.

Closing date for applications: Midnight Sunday 4th January 2026
Interview date: We anticipate interviews to be held during the week commencing 12th January 2026.

We are an inclusive organisation, from our trustees and team members to our audience and participants. We treat all job applicants equally, regardless of class, age, disability, gender identity or gender expression, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation or any other equality characteristic. We particularly encourage applications from individuals who are underrepresented in the cultural sector.
