Location: Plymouth
Salary: £12.84 per hour
⏰ Hours: Minimum 24-36 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 20:00 – 08:00 (includes weekend working)

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting a Non-Complex Waking Night Support Worker to join our professional and supportive team in Plymouth.
The Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of our night-time support services, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of the people we support. You will work in line with individual support plans and company policies, supporting people in their own homes and within the community where required.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:
Support people with a variety of Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health needs
Support individuals to access the community and any employment opportunities
Follow and support Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Plans
Support people within their own homes to maintain tenancies and manage bills
Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes
Important Qualities
We are looking for individuals who are:
Robust and confident in dealing with challenging situations
Caring and compassionate in their approach
Patient and understanding
Motivated to follow systems to support a positive approach
Flexible to meet the needs of the people we support
Good communication skills
Able to follow policies and procedures
Non-Essential (Desirable)
Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
(Full training is provided; experience is not essential.)
Expectations
Weekend working required
Minimum 36-hour contract
Waking night shifts: 20:00 – 08:00
