Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage energy modeling and building physics projects to ensure sustainable and efficient building designs.
- Conduct detailed daylight analysis to optimize natural light usage in building projects.
- Ensure compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations and other relevant standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate energy efficiency and building physics considerations into design processes.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on sustainable building practices and innovative energy solutions.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in energy modeling and building physics, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in IES software for building performance analysis.
- Experience in conducting daylight analysis and optimizing building designs for natural light.
- Familiarity with Part L regulations and a track record of ensuring compliance.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Experience across a range of sectors, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
