Job Description:

Purobuild have partnered with a leading consultancy to assist in their search for a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability Consultant to join their team in London. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sustainable building design and a strong background in environmental impact assessment. You will play a crucial role in advising and implementing sustainability strategies for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and enhancing environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct sustainability assessments and provide strategic consulting for building projects.
- Utilize IES-VE and One Click LCA software for energy modeling and life cycle assessment.
- Design and analyze HVAC systems to optimize energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality.
- Perform TM54 energy performance assessments to predict operational energy use.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate sustainable practices.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated with the latest sustainability trends, technologies, and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sustainability consulting, specifically in building design and performance.
- Proficiency in IES-VE and One Click LCA software.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and TM54 methodologies.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
