Full time and Part time will be considered Hours: 33.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only. At Pathways Learning Centre, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants who are passionate about making a real difference to the lives of students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMHD). This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils at pivotal moments in their education, helping them rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning, and develop the skills they need for life beyond the classroom. The role is to work flexibly across key stages, working with a class or group of students under the direction of the class teacher and/or Intervention Manager.What you'll have: • Creativity in the way you works and able to support students with a range of SEND needs • Experience of working with students in an educational setting • Training and/or experience in specialist social and emotional intervention work such as ELSA, Thrive and therapeutic Mentoring would be an advantage. • Enthusiasm and commitment to enable students to access the curriculum • The ability to work in partnership with teachers to facilitate student learning • The ability to ensure that the wellbeing, behaviour and personal development of individual students enhances their learning and life skillsAbout us: Pathways Learning Centre provides short stay education and therapeutic support for students between Key Stage 1 – 4 who are unable to access mainstream provision for a variety of reasons.
