Summary

Qualified Early Years Educator
Location: Raised in Bristol at Easton Community Centre (BS5)
Salary: £27,206.40 per annum
Contract: Full time 40 hours per weekCome and join Raised in Bristol – where early years education meets community impact. Raised In is a not-for-personal-profit social enterprise with a big heart and a clear mission: to provide exceptional early years education while investing in the communities we serve. At Raised In, we believe that nurseries should feel like home welcoming, nurturing, and full of joy. We’re a passionate bunch who love what we do. Every day, we support children to thrive through play-based, child-led learning in beautifully designed spaces that spark curiosity and confidence. Our approach centres on child-led learning through play, with a thoughtfully designed curriculum that nurtures curiosity and supports each child’s unique interests. From the baby room through to preschool, we focus on every stage of development—helping children grow in confidence and preparing them for their exciting next steps towards school. This setting was the first Raised in Bristol nursery to open its doors back in early 2018. The annexe was purpose-built as a nursery when the community centre opened in 1989 and has been fully refurbished to return it to its original purpose. This is a 67-place nursery and, like all of our Raised in Bristol nurseries, it has a more relaxed feel than some larger settings. We offer play-led learning in a space that prioritises a nurturing environment with a focus on nature and nutrition as children take their first steps towards school. The nursery is located in the vibrant community of Easton, just a 5-minute walk from Stapleton Road and Lawrence Hill Roundabout, both have regular bus links across Bristol, also only a 10-minute walk from Stapleton Road train station and is easily accessible from across the city by bike. There is also free on-street parking in the local area. Why work with us? We really value our expert team. As well as offering competitive pay for all roles in a friendly and supportive team, you’ll receive lots of great benefits: Competitive pay Annual pay reviews Paid lunch 1 hour break 50% off for your child in our nurseries Enhanced maternity pay Employer pension ‘Refer a friend’ bonus for introducing new team members to us 28 days holiday (inc bank holidays, FTE) Your Birthday off and an Annual Wellbeing Day (in addition to your annual leave) Plus 3 extra days off between Christmas and New Year 24/7 access to a remote GP for you and your family Career progression and training opportunities What about you? You’re the kind of person who lights up around children and believes in the power of play to spark learning. You bring energy, curiosity and a can-do attitude to your work, and you’re always up for trying new things. You care deeply about inclusion, teamwork and making a difference, not just in the nursery, but in the wider community too. You’re reflective, open to feedback, and keen to grow. If you’re passionate about giving children the best start in life and want to be part of a team that’s rethinking how Early Years education is done, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re a qualified Early Years Practitioner, Educator, or Teacher in Bristol looking for an exciting new role that makes a real difference, Raised In could be your perfect next step!
