The RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business and Economics Teacher to join our outstanding teaching team. You will be responsible for teaching Business and Economics to students across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging and real-world lessons that develop a deep understanding of market forces, financial literacy, and enterprise.
You will be part of a forward-thinking, collaborative, and supportive department that values innovation in teaching and a commitment to student success. Our faculty members work hard as a team but also maintain a great sense of humour and achieve a healthy work-life balance. We are looking for a team player who will help us develop and shape the next phase of our journey to excellence.
Key Responsibilities-
Plan and deliver high-quality Business and Economics lessons, adhering to the national curriculum and exam board specifications (GCSE and A-Level).

Inspire students to engage deeply with global economic trends, business ethics, and the practicalities of the modern commercial world.

Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their personal and academic goals.

Foster a classroom environment based on mutual respect, inclusivity, and a curiosity about how the world works.

Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives to promote financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and student development.

Contribute to the wider life of the school community through extracurricular activities (such as Young Enterprise or Investment Clubs) or pastoral support.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Strong subject knowledge of Business and Economics, with the ability to teach up to A-Level.

A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to student progress and achievement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

An understanding and appreciation of the school's Christian ethos and values.
