A brand-new GMP Cleaner (field based) vacancy has arisen in our fast-growing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our
team.




LOCATION: Predominantly the Glasgow area, with occasional cover of other areas in the North (a company van or car will be provided
for travel to the various sites)

JOB TITLE: GMP Cleaner (field based)

JOB TYPE: Full Time

HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday (varied shift patterns depending on client requests: either 8.00am – 4.00pm, 9.00am – 5.00pm,
10.00am – 6.00pm, 12.00pm – 8.00pm with 1 weekend out of 4 on call with a shift allowance of £60.00).

PAY: £13.30 per hour




JOB PURPOSE:




We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our friendly team working in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
environments. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate
equipment and/or materials as supplied.

Primary Responsibilities – cleaning walls, floors, and ceilings, emptying litter bins, and maintaining equipment as required to
ensure consistently high audit standards.




Duties to include:




* Produce GDP Compliant reports and documentation.
* Cleaning in the GMP (sterile environment).
* Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard
operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
* Ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs.
* Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day. Any faults/defects to be reported to GMP
Cleaning Supervisor.
* Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to GMP Cleaning Supervisor/Team
Leaders.
* Attend training sessions appertaining to post.
* Carry out any duties as required by the GMP Cleaning Supervisor/Team Leaders.
* Liaise daily with other members of the cleaning team, other staff, and customers.
* All employees are required to, and are responsible for adhering to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety
regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are
understood, and responsibilities are defined.




Essential




* Previous cleaning experience.
* Full UK / EU driving licence.
* Must have a good level of written and spoken English.
* General good health.
* Reasonable standard of fitness as job holder on feet for most of the day.
* Prepared to always wear full uniform.
* Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP.
* Prepared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with the working
instructions / procedures.
* Good standard of IT literacy – Microsoft Office.
* Flexible, regarding ability to support other shift patterns when required.




Desirable but not essential




* Experience within a similar industry.
* Team worker with a flexible approach.
* Knowledge of COSHH.
* An understanding of GMP and quality systems.
* Good communication skills.
* Machinery skills.
