Principal Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, your role will include:
•Supporting Service Users with daily routines, including getting up, going to bed, dressing, washing, bathing, and toileting
•Providing personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
•Prompting medication in line with care plans
•Promoting mental and physical wellbeing through conversation, activities, outings, hobbies, and social engagement
•Supporting Service Users with shopping, attending appointments, local groups, events, or walks
•Providing companionship and light household support
•Assisting with mobility needs, physical disabilities, incontinence care, and use of aids and equipment
•Preparing meals, snacks, and drinks, and assisting with light kitchen duties
•Supporting Service Users who are temporarily unwell, including bed care, feeding, skin care, and personal hygiene
•Making and changing beds, light cleaning, general tidying, and emptying catheters (where trained)
•Reporting any significant changes in a Service User’s health or circumstances to the Care Manager
•Adhering to Lets Care All policies and procedures at all times

•Physically able to carry out domiciliary care duties, including manual handling, bending, lifting, walking, and stair use
•Emotionally resilient and able to manage challenging situations, including stress and bereavement
•Self-motivated, reliable, organised, and flexible
•Excellent communication skills
•Able to follow instructions, care plans, and procedures
•A team player who can also work independently
•Willing to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends
•Willing to travel across Ealing, Southall, Greenford, Northolt, and surrounding areas
•Able to work a mix of early and late shifts
Desirable:
•Previous experience in a care setting
•Relevant care qualifications
(Full training and opportunities to complete Level 1, 2, or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care will be provided to applicants without prior experience.)
