Crynodeb
The Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Team are part of Integrated Musculoskeletal services: Physiotherapy Outpatients, Community Orthopaedics and the Community Chronic Pain Service.
We provide musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy to the local population working in community hospital physiotherapy departments and outreach clinics. We run a hybrid model of face to face and virtual consultations.
The post holder will provide comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment and treatment of outpatients.
A Band 5 Health Care Professional (HCP) will be responsible for the management of their own caseload of patients under the supervision of a senior physiotherapist.
The base location will be agreed at interview and the post holder will be expected to work across sites in their respective teams and sometimes travel throughout Kent for training and to help meet service demands.
Band 5 MSK Physiotherapists work closely with all users of our services and their families, friends and carers who all play an invaluable contribution in how our users experience our services. Band 5 MSK Physiotherapists are expected to be kind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services provided across the health economy by:
• Keeping the people who use our services as safe as possible through the use of sound clinical skills and effective risk assessments
• Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence-based policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the people using our services have a good experience by respecting, empowering and working in partnership with people throughout the care planning process.
