TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic SEND provision based in Bristol. The school follows a varied and personalised curriculum designed to meet the individual needs of young people. Central to their approach is the consistent development of communication, interaction, and people skills, supported by a dedicated SALT approach alongside targeted guidance to support children’s social, emotional, and personal development.

The school’s culture is one of patience, inclusivity, and empowerment, supporting children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential while promoting independence through specialist SALT support.

The school is looking to take on a permanent Speech and Language Therapist from September on a full-time basis. The successful SALT will work directly with students across all Key Stages, aged 5–19 years. Most of the young people are diagnosed with Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD, or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD, and require tailored speech, language, and communication support delivered by an experienced Speech and Language Therapist.

The successful Speech and Language Therapist will have:

• A recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification, plus HCPC & RCSLT registration

  
  

• Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD

  
  

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy sessions as part of a wider SALT provision

  
  

• Confidence working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to implement therapy strategies as a Speech and Language Therapist
