Crynodeb
Although this post is suitable for a General Paediatrician with an interest in community paediatrics or neuro-disability, other interests that complement the department will be considered. The appointee is expected to have at least 6 months of experience in community paediatrics. Completion of RCPCH SPIN module in community paediatrics or neuro-disability is desirable. The appointee will take part in the paediatric consultant of the week rota (1 in 8), neonatal consultant of the week rota (1 in 8) and do on call (1 in 8). The appointee would be expected to undertake SUDIC work when on call and chair rapid response meetings as required by the SUDIC process. The post would suit a good team player dedicated to high quality patient care. The opportunity exists to work in a non-hierarchical setting and offer a wide range of paediatric duties in this busy district general hospital. The ability to match a personal special interest with service requirements will be desirable, as will the commitment to a high-quality service in terms of clinical care, communication and team dynamics.
