Applications are invited for the role of Social Work Assistant either in a Children's Duty & Assessment Team or Safeguarding & Support Team.
If you are successful in your application you will be working alongside a small group of social workers, guided by a principal manager, delivering support and safeguarding services to children and their birth families.
This is a varied role and no two days will be the same.
You will enjoy working face to face with children from the age of 0 to 18, you will be creative, empathetic and a good communicator. You will have excellent skills in social interaction and be able to assist with evidence based assessments and interventions with children and their families.
You will be supported in your role through the offer of regular supervision and access to an access learning and development service You will also work alongside key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive interventions and support are offered to families to assess and manage risk, improve outcomes and build resilience within their own family networks.
