As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include…
• Oversee financial operations & produce accurate monthly management accounts
• Maintain balance sheet controls, reconciliations, and overall financial integrity
• Prepare year-end accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors
• Deliver financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting & insights to support decision-making
• Manage payroll, commissions, cross-charges and respond to finance & payroll queries
• Ensure accurate regulatory reporting, FCA compliance & continuous improvement of financial controls
We are looking for a Management Accountant with the following skills and experience…
• Proven experience as a management accountant, ideally within an FCA-regulated firm
• Strong record of producing high-quality management accounts & financial reporting
• Advanced IT skills, including Excel & accounting systems e.g. Sage, QuickBooks
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence & partner with stakeholders
• High attention to detail, sound judgement, and strong critical thinking skills
• Self-motivated, proactive and driven, with accountancy qualifications is advantageous
In return, the successful a Management Accountant will receive a salary of £35,000 to £40,000, plus the following benefits…
• 33 days holiday including bank holidays
• Death in service policy (2 x salary paid)
