This is a role for a confident, driven vet who enjoys combining hands on clinical work with inspiring and guiding others, while playing a key part in shaping the future of a thriving practice.

The practice is exceptionally well equipped, featuring digital and dental X-ray, in-house blood analysers, and ultrasound. This provides seamless access to advanced diagnostics and facilities at a nearby 24 hour hospital, including a CT scanner, endoscopy, multi parameter monitoring, and laparoscopic equipment. As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, the successful candidate will deliver outstanding clinical care while setting and upholding the highest standards across the practice. Working closely with the Practice Manager, they will help drive performance, support commercial decision making, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic. A key part of the role will be mentoring, coaching, and developing the veterinary and nursing team, sharing best practice, and fostering a progressive, supportive clinical culture.

This position is ideal for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for both patient care and team development.
