We are seeking a Site Supervisor to join our team delivering cyclical decoration works for Plymouths leading social housing provider.

This is a hands-on role in which the successful applicant will be responsible for driving forward the operational delivery of works on our Planned maintenance contract within the Plymouth area , ensuring programmes are met, quality standards are maintained, and health & safety compliance is always upheld.

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)
• SMSTS qualification
• Someone capable of taking full responsibility for day-to-day site operations
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed and maintained on site
• Conduct regular toolbox talks and site briefings
• Monitor progress to ensure targets are achieved to a high standard
• Ensure works are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets
• Liaise with clients and residents as required
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain quality standards

Responsibilities
The responsibilities include day-to-day supervision of operatives as well as conducting pre and post inspections of works. The role involves organising and allocating the operative workload, ensuring that all works meet the required quality and safety standards. Additionally, the position requires liaising with both clients and tenants.

Skills
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in site supervision, preferably within a social housing environment. They should possess experience in one or multiple trades such as painting and decorating, carpentry, or plumbing. Proven experience as a painting supervisor or in a similar role would be beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
