What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a person who has demonstrable experience as a Business Manager in a school or Federation environment and who understands all the necessary skills involved in running an efficient and friendly workplace. You must be a team player who will blend well with the administration team and senior leadership, working closely with and supporting the Executive Headteachers and Heads of Schools in a calm, professional manner. If you have experience in the following areas and are looking for an exciting challenge, we would like to hear from you:

• School Business Manager duties (see Job Descriptions G / H)

• Financial planning and compliance • ITrent and Payroll (DCC)

• Invoicing, payments and financial reconciliation

• Bromcom MIS system

• Conversant with multi layered computer systems and good working knowledge of Access

• Returns including School Census, School Workforce Census, Services to Schools, Pupil Premium and Key Stage returns.

• Excellent IT skills, including Word and Excel

• Policy documents - legal requirements for school and websites

• Managing school administration teams

• Overseeing Personnel and Contract documentation

• Overseeing staff recruitment and safeguarding onboarding procedures
