About the role:
We are seeking to appoint a School and Student Hub Receptionist as part of our school support team.
The School and Student Hub Receptionist will provide a reception service to the school, including operation of switchboard, provision of first aid for students and staff and general administrative tasks.
Our successful candidate will have the following experience, skillset and qualifications:
NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant discipline
GCSEs or equivalent in English and maths
Excellent IT, numeracy and literacy skills
Appropriate knowledge of first aid
Experience of Microsoft Office packages
Ability to maintain strictest confidentiality and integrity at all times
Ability to manage own time effectively and demonstrate initiative including establishing priorities within own workload
Ability to relate to students, staff and parents/carers
Ability to deal with problems in a positive and systematic manner
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Professional telephone manner
The post is permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 TED.
This role reports to the Administration Manager.
