We are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Training Coordinator to join our Recruitment & Training team at KIMS Hospital. This is a key role supporting the delivery, coordination and continuous improvement of training and development across the hospital.
You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure staff receive a high-quality induction, remain compliant with mandatory and critical safety training, and are supported in their ongoing development and career pathways.
Key Responsibilities- Work to ensure a smooth colleague journey from appointment to induction
- Coordinate and facilitate hospital-wide induction programmes
- Ensure new starters have access to all required eLearning and training
- Liaise with departmental managers to confirm completion of local induction
- Respond to training requests, source suitable training and manage payments and records
- Meet monthly with managers to review training needs and compliance and Coordinate all critical safety training across the organisation
- Develop and maintain the annual hospital training calendar
- Deliver training sessions when required
- Monitor attendance and compliance, updating records weekly
- Proactively fill training sessions by engaging with staff and managers
- Support staff undertaking apprenticeships
- Assist with the coordination of management development programmes
- Process training requests, raise purchase orders and receipt invoices
- Maintain accurate training records, databases and personnel files
About YouYou will be an excellent administrator and confident communicator, able to manage multiple priorities in a busy, regulated environment.
- Experience in training coordination within a healthcare organisation
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Confident, professional and well-organised approach
