About the role…
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Cable Jointer to join our growing team in Wrexham. This is a permanent, full time role and the opportunity to join a business that is evolving. You will be responsible for the construction, repair and operation of electrical plant and equipment up to 11kV and should have a sound HV and LV electrical knowledge.
As a Cable Jointer you will…
Responsible for the quality and compliance to standard of yours and others working on the project
Work on development sites and the public highway
Understand utility plans
Undertake cable jointing and network energisation activities
The role is to be responsible for the installation of electrical connections, working with an assistant.
Preparation and use of tools and machinery, preparation of work sites for various works
Ensure completion of projects to agreed specifications and timescales
About you…
You will have a good understanding of sustainability and health and safety and relevant knowledge of DNO policies and procedures. This role is ideal for someone with a cable jointer qualification (or equivalent) and who holds valid EUSR or CSCS cards along with a HV jointer qualification. A full UK driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel and work in different locations.
