Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.
A little about myself:
I am a teenage girl living in Swansea. I am Autistic with ADHD and struggle a lot with anxiety, especially with separation from Mum and Dad. I am very talented at art. I enjoy watching YouTube shows, gaming and listening to music. I also like to crochet. I am looking for a PA to help me to get used to staying at home without mum. I will need a PA that I can trust and get used to being around to build my confidence. I like to know what the plan is for the day. I do not like surprises, loud noises or strong smells. My favourite thing is my cats, and I will need my PA to also like cats.
Driver required to take me out.

Desirable
I’d prefer if:
• You have previous experience of supporting young people with mental health difficulties and neurodiversity
I’d like support with
• Building confidence at home without mum.
• Building a relationship and trust.
• Going to the shop when I feel confident.
I will need my PA to:
Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.
Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
